A Little About Me…

I am so glad you found your way to my small corner of the internet. Let me take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Heather Sossoman, PT, DPT. I am a Physical Therapist with over 27 years of experience in pediatrics. I have a B.S. in Biology from Furman University and a Masters and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. In addition to these degrees, I obtained my Board Certification in Pediatrics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities in 2018.

Throughout my career I have worked in Early Intervention, Public Schools, and Private Practice. I have owned and operated 2 private practices which have allowed me to combine my loves for physical therapy and entrepreneurship. I started my YouTube Channel and this website in 2020 with the goal of providing education, support, and resources to families, educators, and professionals. Over the last 6 years I have fallen in love with content creation and the art of video creation.

In 2024 I made the wild decision to hit the road in my beautiful campervan Lucy to explore the country. While on the road, I work remotely providing telehealth services to students in multiple states, providing coaching to parents and professionals, and creating content for my YouTube Channel and this website.
